Haiti Assignments
My photographs
of Haiti began with specific assignments for specific clients, augmented
with self-made assignments, to produce a set of useful documentary images.
The general theme of work done by my clients has been to help the people
of Haiti. This co-incides with my own personal goals: to use my photography
for better communication, understanding, and co-operation, between the
peoples of these worlds we live in.

Camera and Film Specs
I have tested all major camera brands
and have settled on two makes that provide an ultimate balance between
practicality and superior quality. For 35mm documentary photography
I prefer Nikon cameras and Nikon fixed focal lenth lenses, for 6x6 cm
photography I prefer Hasselblad.
In Haiti:
Cameras for 35mm: Nikon F3, Nikon FM2, Nikon FA, Nikon FE2
with fixed focal length lenses for the sharpest images
possible.
for
6x6cm: Bronica camera with Nikon Lenses (aerials)
